Two diameters are available. The sixteen centimetre shade is made for hanging in a run of two or three over a counter or a breakfast bar, while the thirty centimetre version works as a single fixture over an entrance, a dining table or a bedside. Both ship as assembly fixtures with warm white output, and the shade directs light downward rather than spilling it across the ceiling.

It is at home in a restaurant, a study, a corridor, a balcony or a hotel style bedroom, and the plain shade means it does not date the way a heavily styled fixture does. Fitting is a straightforward assembly job, but as with any mains fixture, have it installed by a qualified electrician if you are not confident working with household wiring. Check the drop length against your ceiling height before ordering so the shade hangs where you want it rather than where the cable ends.
